MUNSCH HORIZONTAL MAGNETIC DRIVE PUMPS
MPC Series - Non-Metallic Chemical Pumps with Magnetic DriveType MPC and MPC-B magnetically coupled pumps are a completely new generation of non-metallic magnetically coupled pumps; the solution of choice for pumping fluids posing an environmental or health hazard such as acids, alkalis, solvents or high-value products in the presence or in the absence of solids. Typical applications include the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as electrolysis and electroplating plants.
Materials of construction: The MP-C Series magnetically coupled pumps are available in PP, PVDF as well as in corrosion-resistant PFA for universal fluid compatibility.
Key MP-C Series features:
- Excellent wear allowance: Volute casing with wall thicknesses > 10 mm
- Flexible: Flushing connections can be retrofitted at any time; pocket holes are provided.
- For crystallizing fluids: Fast, continuous forced coolant and lubricant flow
- Impeller: High efficiencies, low NPSH requirements
- Steep pump characteristic: Exact operating point
- Impeller mounting: Unaffected by reverse rotation
- Low point drainage: Various options
- Mounting: All components bolted with metal-to-metal fit. No adjustment or alignment of sleeve bearings required.
- Mounting aid, contact protection: Rules out contact between outer magnet assembly and spacer can both on installation and during operation
MPC SERIES
The armoured magnetically-coupled pumps of the MPC series are designed to meet chemical process industry standards. Their hermetically sealed design makes them a safe pumping solution for problematic chemicals and solvents.
MPC standardized pump with dimensions to EN 22858/ ISO 2858/ISO 5199, complemented by size 40-25-125, 40-25-160 pumps.
Materials
The chemical pumps are available in PP, PVDF as well as in corrosion-resistant PFA for universal fluid compatibility.
Applications
The MPC-series pumps are used for the safe pumping of fluids posing an environmental or health hazard such as acids, alkalis, solvents and chemically contaminated fluids in the presence or in the absence of solids. Their hermetically sealed design makes them excellently suited to sensitive applications involving major hazards to humans and the environment.
| Pump capacity | up to 150 m3/h |
| Total differential head | up to 80 m |
| Operating temperature [t] | -20°C to +150 °C |
| Operating pressure [p] | up to 16 bar |
| Pressure flange connection | DN 25 to DN 65 |
| Motor rating [P] | up to 30 kW |
MPC-B SERIES
The armoured close-coupled pumps of the MPC-B series are designed to meet chemical process industry standards. Their hermetically sealed design makes them a safe solution for pumping problematic chemicals and solvents.
MPC-B close-coupled pump with casing dimensions to EN 22858/ISO 2858, complemented by size 40-25-125, 40-25-160 pumps.
Applications
The MPC-B series pumps are used for the safe pumping of fluids posing an environmental or health hazard such as acids, alkalis, solvents and chemically contaminated fluids in the presence or in the absence of solids. Their hermetically sealed design makes them excellently suited to sensitive applications involving major hazards to humans and the environment.
