Since it was founded 1964, the SCHMITT-Centrifugal Pump Company has established itself in the market for highly specialized chemical pump systems for the transmission of corrosive and high purity media for volume flow rates up to 500 l/min [30 m3/h] and discharge heads up to 40 m [131 ft].

The construction of our pumps and the materials used in their manufacture- PVDF, PP, PVC and stainless steel permit the transmission of corrosive media such as acids, alkalis and solvents. SCHMITT pumps are also suitable for the transmission of chemically pure media, by providing complete protection from both external and internal contamination.

SCHMITT products are used in laboratories, research centers and in many other areas of industry including; pharmaceutical, food processing, electro-chemical and chemical industries, semi-conductor production, environmental technology and photographic development processes.

The standard operating systems of SCHMITT pumps include three-phase motors, (0.12 to 5.5 kW). Other systems are also available; e.g. AC-based systems and explosion protection and flameproof enclosure systems.

SCHMITT centrifugal pumps consist of only a small number of working parts. They are constructed according to a building-block system which allows for their incorporation into various operating systems. This method of construction means that the pumps can be easily dismantled and reassembled for quick installation and trouble-free maintenance.
