Neil on board for future success
11/09/2010
Neil Williams has been appointed to the board of Chem Resist in Dewsbury just three years after joining the company as a Technical Sales Engineer.
38 year-old Neil was quickly promoted to Manager of the Fluid Transfer division shortly after joining Chem Resist, and oversaw a considerable increase in both client numbers and turnover during the past two years.
Chem Resist is a recognised market leader in the design and manufacture of thermoplastic chemical storage tanks - and our Fluid Transfer division is a major stockist and supplier of many of the world's most-specified pumps. The division's experience and expertise is also leading to increased demand for the design and installation of bespoke pumping solutions to meet customers' particular needs.
The Group continues to report robust trading figures as a result of significant contract wins across the UK, Europe and Australia.
"I'm pleased to be part of a very progressive company," says Castleford-born Neil, "and I'm very much looking forward to helping the group continue its growth and demonstrate to the world that Yorkshire, and its manufacturing sector, is alive and well!"
CAs if to underline that point, one of America's leading Plastic Valve and Controls manufacturers - Plastomatic - presented the company with a special plaque acknowledging distributors who have demonstrated superior sales and customer satisfaction levels. This accolade has now been awarded fifteen times to Chem Resist who have long been a member of Plastomatic's "Top 25 Club" worldwide.
